A LUSAKA  Magistrates’ court has committed five men to the High Court for trial in a murder case involving the death of a United Party for National Development (UPND) member Grayzer Matapa.
Chief resident magistrate Aridah Chuulu committed Mwewa Yapanshi, Billy Semani, Moses Lungu, Maxson Phiri and Daniel Tembo after she received a certificate of committal.
The sixth accused person Albert Mainsa, who was facing an offence of aiding, has since been discharged following a nolle prosequi.
The five are alleged to have murdered Mr Matapa on February 23 this year in Mtendere East Township in Lusaka.
