CHEZ Ntemba VIP Lounge has made a huge announcement likely to shake the cosmopolitan city of Lusaka once again.
It’s the renewal of the Kopala Swag and XYZ rivalry as Macky II and Slap Dee once again face-off in what might be described as part two of the challenge on Saturday, April 9.
Those who would have missed the drama when the two artistes first had a battle in Lusaka will have to make their way to Chez Ntemba VIP Lounge in Kabulonga to see the two hip hop giants test each other’s musical prowess.
Although this looks like a serious rivalry, the entertaining aspect of it is what supersedes all as the two would give out their very best to prove their worth to the loyalists and fans.
That extra stage energy and presence is what the fans end up enjoying and appreciating the real value for their money as it brings out extraordinary acts from the two artistes.
Chez Ntemba management has revealed to Sunday Times Entertainment that the Kopala Swag coiner and XYZ boss would be the main spectacle of the April 9 night in the city, hence all roads are expected to lead to Kabulonga.
“We are opening the month of April with two of Zambia’s music giants who are loved, well followed and respected. We are proud because of the huge following the artistes have in and outside Zambia,” Chez Ntemba manager says.
During the same concert, the artistes are also expected to share an artistic word of love, unity and peace in Zambia ahead of the August 11 elections.
The simple message would be that although they are musical rivals, they remain united on and off stage without a record of any physical attacks on each other.
They just love it that way … “Peace,” they say.
With the show pegged at only K50, the VIP Lounge is expected to be jam-packed with especially the Kopala Swag loyalists and just those who believe Slap Dee started hip-hop in Zambia.
The two are crowd pullers who have a record of satisfying their fans to a point of them demanding for more whenever they give the last bow.
One cannot wait to see what it will be like come Saturday, April 9, 2016, only at Chez Ntemba VIP Lounge in Kabulonga.
Now, on Wednesday, doors are open for free to all ladies as the legendary VIP lounge introduces a free ladies night every Wednesday.
The Chez Ntemba management says the club will also provide free transport for students from universities and colleges.
“We don’t want to risk the lives of our future leaders the students, so that is why we have decided to give a provision of transport for them… they don’t work they are students and ladies for that matter,” the manager says.
