By SANDRA MWILA –
LEAGUE defending champions Zesco United will today be seeking to close the on log leaders Nkana when they face Lumwana Riadants in a rescheduled week-one fixture at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Also, Red Arrows will be wishing to add some substance to their performance this year as they host all conquering Nakambala Leopards in another re-arranged league week-one match.
Zesco v Lumwana
Going by what Zesco has done this year thus far, they seem to have an easy task this afternoon against Lumwana Radiants who are blowing hot and cold in the MTN-FAZ league so far.
From the seven games played, Lumwana have won twice while George ‘Chicken’ Lwandamina’s charges are yet to drop a single point winning all five matches.
A win today will take Zesco to 18 points, one behind Nkana and will have a game to the good over their Kitwe rivals.
Arrows vs Nakambala
Red Arrows will host Nakambala Leopards in a week-one rescheduled fixture at Nkoloma Stadium.
Arrows missed the opening game of the season owing to the core of the team been out to Mbala undergoing military training.
The sweet boys that struggled to stay-up last season have a different story this year as they are yet to lose a game.
Nakambala are on fifth position with 12 points from six games with three wins and three draws.
Arrows on the other hand still seem fatigued from the training and are sitting 11th on the log with two wins, two draws and two losses and will be hoping to just add some fire to their otherwise cold season.
