ALLOW me to express my sincere delight and gratitude over the good works being undertaken by the Ndola City Council. It is quite impressive to note that the local authority is paying a listening ear to some of the residents’ concerns.
Traffic lights have finally been erected at the cross junctions of Blantyre Road and Independence Way and also Kabelenga and Vitanda Street junction.
This will not only help in the reduction of accidents, but will also help in orderly and smooth flow of traffic and also add to the improvement of the city.
May I take this opportunity to implore the council to also consider introducing traffic lights at the cross junction of Nkana Road and Independence Way.
Let them keep up the good works and I urge all residents to support any well meaning projects in any way we can for the betterment of the “friendly city”.
It is a well known fact that there a lot of things that the council has not attended to but credit must be given where it is due just as criticism can be expressed when things are not being done as expected but such criticism must certainly be constructive and not just for the sake of it.
