THE Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) in Lusaka has undertaken an aggressive investment promotion aimed at building entrepreneurs and fostering value addition, infrastructural development and non traditional exports.
ZDA communications and public relations manager Margaret Chimanse said in a statement that the organisation has since participated at the Zambia Entrepreneurship Summit (ZES) organised by the United States of America Embassy in Lusaka’s Kuku Township.
The summit, whose theme is ‘Accessing Good Ideas, Accessing Finance,’ was held yesterday and was aimed at explaining business support opportunities the Agency offers to entrepreneurs.
Ms Chimanse reaffirmed ZDA’s determination to fulfill its mandate of promoting Zambia’s economic growth and development.
The Agency was at the summit to sensitise entrepreneurs on the role of the ZDA in growing Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.
Ms Chimanse said the One Stop Shop Business and Enterprise Development (OSSBR) specialists would disseminate information on the specific services that ZDA offers to entrepreneurs .ZDA has also explained export procedures for entrepreneurs who want to explore the export market.
She reiterated ZDA’s commitment to transform the business sector for the benefit of all Zambians by providing all the necessary information and creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
